Starting Dr.Web Desktop Security Suite graphical management interface
To start the Dr.Web Desktop Security Suite graphical management interface:
•select the Dr.Web Desktop Security Suite item in the Applications system menu or
•right-click the Dr.Web Desktop Security Suite indicator icon in the notification area and select Open Dr.Web Desktop Security Suite from the drop-down list.
You can also start the Dr.Web Desktop Security Suite graphical management interface from the command line by running the drweb-gui& command in a terminal emulator.
Closing Dr.Web Desktop Security Suite graphical management interface
To close the Dr.Web Desktop Security Suite graphical management interface, close the window using the standard close button on the title bar.

Service components, including the notification agent and the SpIDer Guard and SpIDer Gate monitors, continue their operation after closing the Dr.Web Desktop Security Suite graphical interface (unless they are disabled by the user).
Under normal operation, all necessary service components do not require user intervention. |
